Nice page. The color contrast is working well for you here. As is your decision to let the mystery elements of the story world and characters unfold in the narrative itself. If what were seeing here are the antagonist, your design work is definitely appealing to my affection for avian styled armor. I'm ready to see more of these guys. Prologue gets an A+ in my book.

Oh crap! When I hovered over that panel with her father having a HOLE in his chest, and seeing, "it gets worse," I dropped my jaw. Honest.

Wyrecats 0-8: Boom

Full page shot of K.A. with her helmet collapsed behind her head to reveal her face. She he holds her hand to her head as tears stream down her cheeks. Surrounding her are black and white images she's seen from the news.

They include a squad of armored terrorists (like the one we saw in K.A.'s flashback, pages earlier) standing over a pile of rubble in a smoky haze, Bryce carrying K.A.'s comatose body to safety as firefighters tend to the wreckage, an American president at a podium declaring war as a armored soldier stands by his side, and K.A.'s dad lying dead on the ground, a large hole blown through his chest.

K.A.: Dad?
