A calmer beat before the action really heats up, so I'll take this time to make a few Announcements.

#1.) I'm switching to white panel gutters! It's an experiment because I got sick of just using big black letterbox borders. Is this better, worse, or not that important?

#2.) I'm co-hosting a podcast about comic book art! The podcast is Dave Clarke's brainchild, READ IT FOR THE PICTURES, focusing almost exclusively on comics art from an artist's perspective! Listen to it for advice on how to be a better artist, as well as various diversions about socialism, Alex Jones impersonations, Metal Gear Solid references, squeezing over cats, throwing shade at Marvel and DC, and more!

#3 I'm working hard to set up my PATREON! Subscribe now and you'll not only get early access and exclusive content, but also illustrations done for you at your request! I'll DRAW ANYTHING! (almost).

Any thoughts or feedback on any of these projects? I've been quite the busy beaver.

Didn't I see this in Pacific Rim? Oh wait...

I like how the white gutters make the panels feel like they're floating on the background- but at the same time, this makes things like on the previous page, where a speech bubble spans two panels, impossible without changing some things up.

Thank you. I was a bit surprised at how it merges with the site's white background. Still weighing my options.

I have to get used to not having more content to read lol, love the underwater base! gives me bioshock vibes

Loved the first two BioShock games, liked Infinite okay from a gameplay perspective (don't get me started on the story)

I'm going to weigh in and say that I'm a fan of the black borders.

There is nothing creepier than an easy way in when you expect difficulty...

Identified and granted access instantly? Or was Lamar just showing-off his king nerdiness? XD

Both borders look fine! :)

"Also Yes"

KA took the words right outta my mouth.

I have a feeling that despite all the big changes and reveals in this short amount of time, the biggest one is about to come...

Since you tend to use a darker or more saturated palette, I think the white works better from a "dividing line" point of view.

Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, though, either way.

Thank you. that's what I was going for.

Theory: watertight doors are expensive and difficult to install. If they're gonna rush in anyway, might as well spare the hassle of repairs later.

I like the white gutters. It gives the panels more breathing room.
