Chapter 3 is complete. It's been a whole year of doing this comic. But all the pieces are at play now, and the true form of the story emerges from the fog of K.A.'s coma awakening.

Wyrecats is no longer a fledgling comic; it's pretty established, complete with its own domain name (www.wyrecats.com). A lot more is to come, both in the main story and other materials surrounding it. So at this point, I'm opening up the forum to you, the readers.

What do you make of Wyrecats so far? What is working for you in this comic? What isn't? What characters stand out to you? And what would you like to see?

It's been a hell of a year, for me as well as for the comic. Here's to many more.

Congratulations! So happy for you! :)

Aw, remembering the better times...sad, I know.

(I'm always bad at these things, so I'll just say you're doing a great job).

Aside from a few snarky comments a few months ago, I haven't really looked at this work; I took this anniversary as a prompt to binge the hell out of your archives.

PM incoming.

Thank you! I suspect there's more thematic overlap between Wyrecats and Let it Ride than one might initially think. All I'm sure of is that I love your comics.

First and foremost, congratulations! One year is nothing to sneeze at.

Now, on this page: I now absolutely LOVE K.A. I hope she can find some of that brightness again (though I won't be surprised otherwise)...

I can kinda see Bryce's point--if you're in control, you can ensure good things happen. But Lamar has a point too about the cost of it and realistically, when people lose their freedom (or at least sense of freedom) things don't go well, not matter how benevolent you are :/

Congratulations big-time!

As I mentioned in the "comment on the page above"-therad. That's where I first took note of Wyrecats. And I remember while I mentioned that I felt there was room for improvement with the art, something about it immediately struck me as engaging. Maybe the good natured nature of K.A? Or the subtle complexities to both the character and the world?

When I got into it more I noticed that this wasn't just a first impression thing, you really have an astounding sense of detail and I can tell there's a lot of planning going on behind your story. And that's what's keeping me engaged!

I'm really excited, and nervous, to see where this confrontation between K.A and Lamar is going. I'm hoping for many more years of Wyrecats to come! ^_^

I'm very story-oriented, and I like the creativity of the premise, and the way you're developing it. I also like the pacing. The art is also good, and adds a lot to the presentation. So, a win as far as I'm concerned. :)

The Discus section seems to be following from post to post without resetting, so I'm moving to here.

Thank you. I'm trying to fix the overall layout and hopefully I'll be able to get the Disqus sorted.

Such a great moment there at the end, Neil.
All that youthful exuberance and utopian hope, and then her reaction to the reality.
And Mela's attempt to comfort her.
