Here's Lamar, apparently gone to the bad side. But the truth is much more complicated, mainly because I have no interest in making yet another disabled character into a bad guy. I can spoil that much, at least...

Also, you may notice in the backdrop of panel 4, that there's a poster of hilarious personified game company comedy comic Consolers, of the avatar of Nintendo. These guys may be evil, but they have good taste in webcomics. Check it out!

Drama! Action! Betrayal! That - and more - on this episode of, "WyreCats!"

I have some theories about this, but since I'm privvy to things I'm not at liberty to share, I shall have to wait and find out.

Stick the knife in and twist it, eh Neil?

Such excellent delivery! And while I understand your reasoning for telling us why things are more complicate than they seem, I would have loved to learn if there were reasons for Lamar's actions via the comic. He precious scene with him sort of hinted at the duality of his character and this just arc just seem like it's gonna be soooo ripe with character tension and reveals as it is! It really is such a great contrast to the pleasantness I've gleaned from what I've seen of him so far.

Well, I did say that Lamar's not gone evil, sparing him the trope of disabled bad guys who of course are disabled because "normal" people don't need to go evil. I didn't say he's made consistently good choices over the five years since the team was split up...

Fair enough! The way you write your characters though, I've never been concerned with you portraying them that black and white. ^_^ You've done very them well so far.

Oh, and don't get me wrong. I'm very interested in seeing what made Lamar turn this way. The stage is set for some excellent drama!

By your comments above, friend, I'm trying to think of a good plan that involves thievery.

A plan that's "good," as in "hey, this could work," or "good," as in "we're making the world better by taking something that doesn't belong to us."
I'll wait and see on the first. The second? Well, if the Pentagon having it will make things worse, then yeah, I say it's good.
If it's Lamar's in the first place, then it's not really "thievery" in the strictest sense.
Either way, it promises to be entertaining and thought-provoking.
