Driving home the point that K.A. may physically be 22, but intellectually she's still 17, electronics engineering genius or not.

Also, you may recognize some of the other patients at Bryce's clinic; the charmingly manipulative Professor T.K. of fellow super-comic and friend of the Wyrecats M9 Girls, and Lewis and Jane (the mummified one) from steampunk adventure I, Mummy. I've done fan art of these respective characters in armor, so they were on my mind.

I love the transformation panel. However. When an old friend goes "We have alot to discuss." after a years long coma, I've got a feeling we're not going to be thrilled with what comes next.

I wonder if he milks the "it's not brain surgery" joke for all it's worth. I mean, I know he's probably not an actual surgeon, but still. It's way too good of an opportunity to waste.

Hey, thanks for the cameo!
The Professor being near to a research lab makes lots of sense, just don't trust him with too much info...

You are REALLY rocking the "weight of years" thing. Well done, sir!

With nanotech, you're only one killer looking transformation scene from casual to business attire!

I imagine there would be a lot to catch up on after having missed 5 years...

1.) While Bryce and K.A. are talking, K.A pushes a hidden button on her wrist-plates.

BRYCE: Anyways, we got a lot to discuss...but not in public.

K.A.: Right...

2.) K.A.’s armor reconfigures itself, the plates magnetically floating off of her and shifting into different modes around K.A.’s nanotech undersuit.

3.) K.A. looks down at her civilian clothes, the school uniform she wore as part of her old class.

K.A.: Still set to my school uniform...class of 2018...

4.) K.A. looks utterly crestfallen as the weight of the five years of life she’s lost continues to set in.

BRYCE: One problem at a time, K.A.

5.) K.A. and Bryce leave the hospital as he leads her to his limousine, parked by the curb.

K.A.: ....you got me officially discharged?

BRYCE: Just thought some fresh air’d do you some good...

6.) We see the sign on the building, “The Jonathan James Bryce Neuroscience Clinic “.

BRYCE: ...as you can see, my opinion’s got some weight.
