This will likely be the last Wyrecats comic of the year, in which the comic has unfortunately dropped on the list of my priorities. With a day job of extremely high pressure, and a desire to develop an arts career in avenues more accessible than a longform independent comic, Wyrecats' schedule for the time being is a "when it's done" affair. Which fortunately means I can work on making the pages look better and better, without having to make concession to uphold a self-imposed schedule. And to work on Wyrecats-related projects in tandem to the main strip, and flesh out the universe better.

First and last comic of the year? Aw :(

Don't worry about keeping a consistent schedule - your career is more important.

As for today's comics... doesn't look so good for the kid. Getting Rico out of there is only a small part of saving him, it seems.

I realize that the timezone differences mean that it's showing up as Jan 2019 when I posted it on December evening, so I want to clarify that Wyrecats comics are still coming, albiet more slowly.

Hm, mixing RL and comicking is always hard. I'm pretty invested in Wyrecats right now and I'd like you to take that as praise. But as it is, RL is always more important much as we love our and each other's comics. Doing that also lets us produce the works we want rather than stress over it and have the work suffer.

Also, on today's comic, is this also an addictive substance by any chance? With all the stuff that happens in Wyrecats, are they also gonna have to deal with Rico coming down off whatever they've pumped him full with?

Real life always comes first. So don't worry and post whenever you find the time.

I don't blame you at all--I took a few weeks off myself! We all need a break every now and then. Even though I wish for more content, I wish for your sanity more XD

"When it's done" is a good metric. I'll just keep checking back until new content pops up. :)

Sorry I never congratulated you on 100 comic pages, Neil! Well done! I'm happy we're a part of each other's comics' journeys! :)
