Because all the Wyrecats have some kind of developmental disability (and some physical disabilities), often tied into their engineering brilliance, their interactions with each other aren't exactly clean, even in the old days. Odds are Bryce's ham-fisted matchmaking effort just made K.A. and Lamar's relationship more awkward, even if they actually did set up the date.

Oh, and I have a Patreon now!

Congrats to all--the awkward and the author!

And yeah, drones.

Thank you. Constant digital surveillance is a great way to know how to help your friends, right?

I find this scene highly adorable. And I think more so the aspect of self-worth connected to disabilities elevates the feels of the scene. It's also good to have a voice of fortrighteousness speak out on their behalfs. It just dawned on me a bit that another theme
of Wyrecats seem to be about coping with and/or overcoming disability. Setting a story like that to mechanised suits makes so much sense that i can't believe I didn't think of it until now. :P

Not sure where I heard this, but there's a saying that getting rid of disability from life is like getting rid of the ninth inning in baseball; it's something that everyone eventually has to deal with, but few openly discuss.

Ehh. I would have liked to actually see their relationship develop instead of being outright told how they feel about each other from the mouth of a third party. The more subtle hints you were dropping last page were fine. You don't need to force it so much.

I'm not really a big fan of romance, though, so don't take my criticism too much to heart.

Thank you for the feedback, it's taken strongly to heart. I should note that the assumption that they actually got to a relationship is just that...

The exchange here is absolutely adorkable. And yeah, I totally get where Bryce is coming from.
