I'm a bit behind on my schedule due to problems in real life, both personal and related to democracy collapsing in favor of a hateful regime with a hideous toupeed face. I debated uploading at all because of my shrinking buffer, but then I realized I'll just have to work harder to do more comics. As naïve and frivolous as hero fiction may seen, the very idea of good triumphing over evil is one of the few things that can see us through.
Usually I comment on the writing, but I just wanted to point out how much I like the angling of Mela's helmet protrusions in panel 3. Actually, her entire pose came out pretty good. Your art seems to be better than ever in this project so far. It's good to see you pushing yourself to make the visuals work harder to support the writing. The writing may be the strongest point, but don't think I haven't noticed that you've improved as an artist as well.
What you're saying is true. I was basically raised on superhero comics all of which reinforced my belief to treat all people with love and respect. Even in the darkest of times.
As for the comic, I agree with the above poster in that advancements in your artwork is showing off here. And I like the continuing tense mystery about the past couple of years.

So Mela isn't all that happy with Bryce, either. Now I'm torn between wanting to see the fighting and wanting to hear the backstory. :)

Seeing the suits in action for the first time in their full glory is really cool. You really get to show off their design, here.

Thank you, if that's how you feel you'll be super-stoked for the coming pages.

Yes. In the face of evil, we MUST fight in any way possible. Sorry to hear things are not so good on your front.

I agree with Melaredblu. You've stepped up your game here. Panel two is as expressive and telling as her dialog.
